4 U Songs creates personalized, AI-composed songs from the details you share. We collect only what we need to make and deliver your song, and we don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train our own AI models. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

We do not collect photos. We do not ask for or store images of you or anyone else, and we do not collect biometric data.
Where the GDPR applies, we process your information to perform our contract with you (to make and deliver your song), on the basis of your consent (for marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time), and for our legitimate interests (to keep the service secure and prevent abuse).
If you buy from us, we may occasionally email you news and offers. Every marketing email identifies us, includes our mailing address, and has a one-click unsubscribe - and unsubscribing stops those emails right away. We'll still send you the transactional messages needed to deliver and support your order. You can opt out at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing us.
We keep your finished song, cover art, lyrics, and song page as a lasting keepsake, so you can return to your private link. We keep the raw personal story you typed only as long as we need it to create, deliver, and support your song, and we delete it on request. We keep basic technical and security records for only as long as needed for anti-abuse and legal purposes. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll do so except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, payment and tax records).
We use a small number of trusted service providers strictly to create and deliver your song. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. These providers are:
We're based in Canada and several of our providers are in the United States, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in Canada and the US. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.
Wherever you live, you can email us to access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, request a copy to take elsewhere, or withdraw consent to marketing. Depending on your region (for example, under Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local privacy regulator. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
If you're a California resident: we collect the categories described in "What we collect" above (identifiers like your email and IP address, the content of your order, and commercial/transaction information). We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise your rights to know, delete, and correct by emailing us.
Your song files are delivered through private, signed links rather than a public address, and payment is handled by Stripe. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
4 U Songs is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
