These terms cover your use of 4 U Songs. By placing an order, you agree to them. We've kept them in plain language, but they're a binding agreement, so please read them.
In these terms, "4 U Songs," "we," and "us" mean the 4 U Songs service. You can reach us at songs@4usongs.com.
4 U Songs creates original, AI-composed songs - lyrics and music generated by artificial intelligence from the story and preferences you give us. Each song is a personal keepsake made to order. We're upfront that the music is AI-generated; the memories and details in it are yours. Every order includes the studio song (MP3 and lossless WAV), cover art, a personal song page where the lyrics light up as it plays, and a private share link. A lyric video is available as a separate add-on.
You're responsible for the content you submit. By placing an order you confirm that:
We may decline, cancel, or refund any order that conflicts with these terms.
When your order is complete, you receive a personal-use license to your finished song, cover art, song page, and any video add-on - to play, download, share privately, and gift. This license does not grant commercial rights (for example, paid advertising, broadcast, resale, or use in a product for sale). If you'd like commercial use, contact us first.
Songs are usually ready within minutes; lyric videos may take longer. We deliver by a private link sent to your email. That link is your access to your song, so keep the email. Download links may expire after a number of days, but you can return to your private song page or contact us to restore access.
Your song is produced using third-party AI music tools. The legal status of AI-generated works and the ownership of their outputs continue to evolve, and some AI music providers are the subject of ongoing litigation. We provide your song "as is" for personal enjoyment and make no warranty that AI-generated output is eligible for copyright protection or free of any third-party claim. You agree not to register your song as your own original copyrighted work or to rely on it for commercial purposes without your own legal advice.
Variable output. Because your song is generated by AI, its output is inherently variable. We apply a pronunciation guide to how names and words are sung, but we cannot guarantee that every name or uncommon word is pronounced exactly as you intend. Each generation is also unique: regenerating produces a new rendition and cannot reproduce a previous version exactly, and we cannot recover an earlier take. You preview each version free before you buy, and each order includes up to three regenerations per song; our love-it guarantee above still applies.
4 U Songs is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 4 U Songs and its operator from any third-party claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of the content you submit, your breach of these terms, or your misuse of a song - for example, a claim by someone named or described in your story, or a claim arising from a commercial or public use we did not authorize.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Talk to us first. If you have a dispute, email songs@4usongs.com and give us 30 days to resolve it informally. Most issues are solved this way.
Arbitration and class-action waiver. If we can't resolve it informally, you and we agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, and that you and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. You may still bring an eligible claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek an injunction to protect intellectual property.
Nothing in this section removes rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region whose law gives you non-waivable rights, those rights still apply and this arbitration and class-action waiver applies only as far as that law allows.
4 U Songs is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order.
We offer 4 U Songs to customers in many countries. You're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you live, including any local restrictions on the content you create.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
